Rajnath Singh, BJP and English

May be Rajnath Singh himself tried to learn English, found it difficult, so the chief executive of BJP said English has ruined the Indian culture, and there are hardly any people who speak Sanskrit.

This is the most irresponsible statement from the chief executive of the party which talks about nationalism. Does he knows how many languages are spoken in India, and what role English plays in Indian nationalism? It is the dirtiest statement of a party which talks about nationalism; this shows its true colours.

Rajnath Singh, why do you people prefer Hindi when your party gives its official statements, why not in Sanskrit? Why don’t you prefer Tamil over English than Sanskrit, Tamil is as old as Sanskrit! Which Indian culture you talk about? Rajnath Singh, the statement you gave about English, least can you give that statement in Sanskrit, if not then mock at yourself, you’re worth that!

Start Sanskrit from platform of your party, issue and ordinance that too in Sanskrit that all spokesperson whoever speaks on behalf of BJP speaks in Sanskrit, at least repeat the sentence in Sanskrit. Ask your own self, Prakash Javadekar, Sushma Swaraj and others to use Sanskrit, if they can learn English, Oh yes! English why can’t they learn Sanskrit?

Ask your premier candidate Narendra Modi to use Sanskrit; he frequently uses English, why? Ask Sushma Swaraj to use Sanskrit when she talks in Parliament. Ask Arun Jaitley to say at least something in Sanskrit instead of English. Ask Uma Bharti to talk in Sanskrit, ask Venkaiya Naidu to talk in Sanskrit than in English, ask Murli Manohar to use Sanskrit.

English is de facto the official language of India, and practically very convenient to use it in different parts of India for conversation which is otherwise quiet difficult. It was actually English which unified the conscience of North India to South India’s, West India’s to East India’s. If people follow your dictats they would lose even the sense of unity. None of Indian languages could do what English has done for Indian nationalism and sense of unity.

Rajnath Singh, I would like to ask you that what you think about English version of Constitution of Indian, whether it is harming Indian culture or strengthening Indian unity? Also, do you know how many of your party members have taken oaths in English? Can you comprehend what Constitution imply to mean when it talks about 'no discrimination on grounds of language'? India still remains backward much because people like you sit on chairs which need responsibility.

Rajnath Singh your double standard is your personal double standard or your party’s? Because your MPs try their best to impress others in Parliament by using English; forget Sanskrit they don’t even use Hindi. According to your ‘illogic’ Narendra Modi is harming Indian culture by conversing in English than in Sanskrit leave Hindi aside and he is your premier candidate? Senseless remarks might be shameless politics, divide and rule! But for your kind information India is a changed country now!
