May be Rajnath Singh himself tried to learn English, found it difficult, so the chief executive of BJP said English has ruined the Indian culture, and there are hardly any people who speak Sanskrit.

Does he knows how many languages are spoken in India, and what role English plays in Indian nationalism? It is the dirtiest statement of a party which talks about nationalism; this shows its true colours.

English is de facto the official language of India, and practically very convenient to use it in different parts of India for conversation which is otherwise quiet difficult.
