Thought to make an Urdu version of the American Declaration of Independence


Sometime back I was searching for the Declaration of American Independence in Urdu, I could not get that, lately, I decided to translate the whole document on my own and put it up on my blog for those who want to read that in Urdu. I took out free time for that and little by little I translated it to the best of my understanding, you know there are things which become absurd when you translate as it is to some other language, the whole motive fails, thus to make the absurd translation more tangible to Urdu readers, I tried being bit rhythmic. Instead of names of signatories I thought their painting would do a better job.
I thought over when to put this on my blog, finally, I thought what could be a better day than 4th July. If any discrepancies are there please help me sort that out. Exactly after 239 long years here comes the Urdu translation.
Sincerely, I think it’s a tiny little respect and homage from me to great men behind this document, in particular Thomas Jefferson.

Tera Muttaahida Riyaasat Amrika ka muttafik Iqraar-naama.
Jab kabhi insaaniyat ki taarikh me, kisi ek qaum ke liye ye zaruri ho jaata hai ke wo radd karde us siyaasi majmue ko jisse ke wo ab tak jude rahe hou, aur ose tabdil karde kisi aur majmue se, aur haasil karle Zamin ke ikhteyaaraat, jo ke alaahida magar baraabar martaba rakhte hae, jinhe ke qudrati nizaam aur iske Khuda ne inhe faraaham kiya ho, insaani fikr ka ehteraam baaki rahe, is liye ye zaruri ho jata hai ke un wajuhaat ko bhi waazae kar diya jaaye jo is alaahidgi ki zimmedaar hae.
Hum in haqiqat ko waazae maante hae, ke har insaan ek dusre ke baraabar khalq kiya gaya hae, aur Khaaliq ne har kisi ko kuch naaghurez haquq ata kiye hae, aur inhi me se hae Zindaghi, Azaadi aur Talabe Khush-haali ke haquq.
Aur inhi haquq ke tahhaffuz ke khaatir, insaano ke darmiyaan hukumat ka qayaam kiya jaata hae, jise ke apne ikhteyaarat un logou ki raza se haasil hote hae, jinpar ise qaayam kiya jaata hae, jab bhi kabhi koi hukumat in maqsad ke mutalliq tabaah kun rawaiyya ikhteyaar kar leti hae, tou logou ka ye haq hae ke aesi hukumat ko tabdil karde ya ose khatm hi kar de, aur nayi hukumat qayaam kare, jiski bina wohi usul ho, aur nayi hukumat ke ikhteyaarat is tariqe se munazzim karde ke iske logou ko is baat ka mukammal itmenaan ho jaaye ke is hukumat ke nataaij me inki hifaazat aur khush-haali hogi.
Beshaq, duur-andeshi is mutalliq agaah karaati hae ke, ek muddat se qaayam hukumat ko kuch mukhtasar aur fuzul wajuhaat ki bina par tabdil nahi kiya jaana chaahiye, taarikh is baat ki gawaah hae ke, halaake buraayi iski zyada mustahiq hoti hae ke ose past kiya jaaye, insaaniyat hi ho past maandaghi ka saamna karna padh jaata hae, ye sab iske bajaaye ke wo khud ke haalaat durust kar sakte aese nizaam ka khaatma kar ke jiske mutaabik wo dhal chuke hou. Magar jab be-izzati aur ghasab ka ek tawil silsila ho, ek zaahir si tartib ho jo isi maqsad me musalsal masruf rahe ke kis tarha past kar diya jaye unhe ek mukammal taanaashaahi ke paaye tale, tab ye unka haq hae, unki zimme-daari hae, ke wo ukhaad phenke aesi hukumat, aur muqarrar karde naye muhafizeen apni mustaqbil ki hifaazat ke khaatir.
Kis tarha se sabr ke sath in riyaasat ne saaha hae; par ab aesi zarurat aan padi hae jisne unke saamne koi aur dighar raah hi baaki nahi rakhi, siwaaye iske ke wo tabdil karde apne purane hukumati nizaam ko. Bartaaniya ke maujuda badshah ki taarikh ek aesi taarikh hae ke jisme musalsal zakhm aur ghasab shaamil hae, in tamaam shar ka mehez ek hi maqsad hae in riyaasat par ek mukammal taanaashaahi ka qayaam. Is baat ko saabit karne ke waaste, adl pasand duniya ke saamse sabut haazir kiye jaa rahe hae.
Us ne, un qawaanin jo ke awaam ki falaah ke liye nihayat hi aeham aur zaruri the, unhe apni manzuri dene se inkaar kar diya
Us ne apne Subeh-daaro ko fauri aur nihaayat hi aeham qawaanin tak ko manzuri dene se rok rakha hae, us waqt tak ma’attal rakhe jaaye aur laagu na kiye jaa sake jab tak ke uski khud ki manzuri na haasil kar li jaaye; ma’attal hone ki surate haal me bhi, us ne inhe mukammal taur se nazar andaaz kar daala.
Us ne awaam ke liye bade zil’ou ki takmil ke dighar qawaanin ko manzuri dene se inkaar kar diya, us waqt tak jab tak ke log qaanun saazi me numaaindaghi ke apne haq ko tark na kar de, ek aesa haq jo ke logou ke liye tou besh qimati hota hae magar sirf zaalim hi us se khauf-zadah hote hae.
Us ne qaanun saaz jam’aat ko aese maqaamaat par haazir karwaaya jo ke naa-munasib, dushwaar, aur awaam ke ma’lumaat shumaar idaare se dur daraaz hua karte the, mehez is maqsad ke tehat taake dushwaar ho kar uski paimaaish qubul kar le.
Us ne musalsal Majlise Numaaindaghi ko maazul kiya, is bina par ke awaam ke haquq me uski beja dakhal ki mardana pukhtaghi ke saath mukhaalifat ki gayi.
In Maazuliyaat ke baad bhi, ek tawil arse tak, dighar araaqin ko chun liye jaane se roke rakha, jiski bina hi par qaanun-saazi ke ikhteyaaraat, jinhe kabhi khatm hi nahi kiya jaa sakta, ab awaam ke haatho me hi laut aate hae, taake in ikteyaaraat ki takmil ho sake; is surate-haal me mulk par ghair-mulki hamle aur andruni baghaawat ka khatra mandra raha hae.
Usne Shiddat se koshish ki taake wo rok sake in riyaasat ki awaam ko; isi maqsad ke tehat usne rukaawat paida ki un qawaanin me jo ke ghair-mulki baashindo ko shehriyat faraaham karte hae; dighar logou ko aamodaraft ki ijaazat nahi di jisse ke unhe himmat milti taake wo yeha hijrat kar sake, naahi nayi zamin ki malkiyat ke haalaat behtar kiye.
Adaalati ikhteyaaraat wazaaye kiye jaane ke waaste qawaanin ko apni manzuri dene se inkaar karke usne Adaalat ke intezaamaat me rukaawat khadi ki
Us ne tamaam qaadi ko unki muddate mulaazimat, unki tankhawaah ki rakam aur adaaygi ke mutalliq sirf khud ka mohtaaj bana rakha hae.
Usne kayi saare naye daftar qaayam kiye, aur apne kaarkoon ke jamghat hamaare yeha bhej diye taake wo hamaari awaam ko dara dhamka sake aur unka niwaala chhin sake.
Usne, amn ke waqt me bhi hamaare darmiyan, hamaari majaalis ki manzuri ke baghair ek sargarm fauj maujud rakhi.
Usne aese asraat paida kiye hae jinki bina par fauz diwaani ikhteyaarat se bhi azaad ho jaaye.
Usne ghair tanzim ke saath milkar hume aese hudud ke supurd kiya jo ke hamaare aain ke madde nazar ghair-mulki the aur hamaare qawaanin se taslim shuda nahi the; in tanzim ki qaraar-daad ko apni manzuri de dekar ose qaanun saazi sabit karne ki chaal chali:
Taake kasir afwaaj hamare darmiyan la kar khadi kar sake:
Taake, farzi muqaddamaat ke zariye, in afwaaj ko bachaaya jaa sake, un qatale-aam se jo wo in riyaasat ke baashindou ka karte hou:
Taake Duniya ke dighar hissou se hamaari Tijaarat ko khatm kar diya jaaye:
Taake hamaari razaa-mandi ke baghair hi humpar zarb laagu kiya jaa sake:
Taake qayi saare muqaddamaat me, sabut aur dalaail ki bina par samaat kiye jaane se hume mehroom rakh sake:
Taake hume farzi muqaddamaat ki sam’aat ke bahaane samandar ke paar le ja sake:
Taake pados ki riyaasat se Angrezi Qawaanin ka azaad nizaam khatm kiya jaa sake, uski jagah par man-maane qawaanin lagu kar sake, fir un riyaasat ke ehaate failaaye jaaye aur in tamaam ko fauran ki ek misaal baana kar pesh kar diya jaaye, aur fir isi misaal ke tehat hamaari riyaasat me bhi khud ki taanaashaahi ki shuruwaat kar sake
Taake hamaari qaraar-daad chhini ja sake, hamaare umdaah qawaanin ko khatm kiya ja sake aur hamaari in hukumat ke nizaam ko hi sire se tabdil kiya ja sake:
Taaki hamaare qaanun-saaz aewaan ma’attal kiye ja sake, aur khud ko un ikhteyaaraat rakhne ke qaabil hone ka aelaan kara sake jisse ke wo kisi bhi masaail par hum par qawaanin bana kar laagu kar sake.
Is aelaan ko karke ke hum uske tahhaffuz se khaarij kar diye gaye hae aur humare khilaaf aelaane jung karke, us ne khud hi ko yeha ki hukumat se maazul kar liya hae.
Us ne hamaare samandar me lut maar ki, hamaare saahil par tabaahi ki, hamaare qasbou ko jalaaya, aur hamaari awaam ki zindaghi barbaad ki.
Usne is waqt bhi deshshat-gardou ki kasir afwaaj rawaana kar rakhi hai taake wo anjaam tak pocha sake qatle-aam, tabaahi aur zulm ke us silsile ko, jise ke pehele hi se isne jabr aur barbaadi ke haalaat me shuru kiya tha, aese kaar-naame ki misaal barbar tarin zamaane me bhi shaayad hi mil sake, ye hae ek tahzib-yaafta mulk ka naa laayak sarbaraah.
Usne dur-daraaz samandar me qaidi banaaye huwe hamaare apne hi logou ko apne hi mulk ke khilaaf hathyaar uthaane par majbur kar diya, taake wo apne hi dostou aur baraadaraan ka qatle-aam kar sake, ya fir apne hi logou ke hathou se qatl kar diye jaaye.
Us ne hamaare darmiyaan me bhi gharelu baghaawat ki hausla afzaai ki hae, aur shadid koshish ki hae taake wo hum par hamlaah aawar kar de hamaari sarhad paar ke un be-raeham wehshi Hindi dehshatgardou ko jinke hamle tamaam mardou, aurtou, jawanaan, buzurgh aur har tabke ke shakhs ko barbaad kar dete hae.
Jabr ke har aalam me humne masaail ke hal ke khaatir nihaayat hi aajizaana andaaz me ilteja ki: hamaari musalsal ilteja ke jawaab me hume zakhm milte rahe. Ek shehzaadah, jiske kirdaar ka har ek amal aesa hota hae jisse ke Zaalim ki wazaahat hoti hae, tou ye is qaabil nahi hae ke wo azaad awaam ka haakim ban sake.
Hum apne Angrezi Baraadaraan ki tawajjah ke bahaar nahi rahe hae, humne unhe waqt ba waqt aagah karaaya hae ke unke aewaan ke zariye hum par na qaabile qabul ikhteyaarat haasil karne ki koshish ho rahi hae. Hum ne unhe yaad dilaaya ke kin surate haal me humne yeha hijrat ki aur basti basaayi. Humne unke aabaayi adl aur sakhaawat ke saamne ilteja ki, humne unhe unke saath hamaare mushtarqa rishte aur ta’alluqaat ka hawaala diya ke wo in ghasab se parhez kare, jo ke, aakhir kaar unke saath hamaare ta’lluqaat aur khatou kitaabat ko dushwaar kar dega. Unho ne bhi nasli ta’alluqaat aur adl ki awaaz ki an-suni kardi. Isi bina par, hume, apni zaruriyaat ko madde nazar rakhte huwe, apni alaahidgi ka aelaan karna chaahiye, aur ab unhe is tarha hi samajhna chahiye, jaese ke hum dighar tamaan insaanou ko samajhte hae, jung me dushman, amn ke dost.
Is liye, Hum, muttaahida riyaasat Amrika ke numaainde, awaami majlis me, jama ho kar, apni niyat ki baqa ke khaatir Duniya ke Us Aala Qaadi ke saamne ilteja karte huwe, in riyaasat ki sharif awaam ke ba-naam aur baa-sanad, mukhlisaana aelaan pesh karte hae, ke jaesa ke inhe haq haasil hae, ye muttaahida Amriki riyaasat, ab se azaad aur khud mukhtaar mulk hae; Aur ye ke ye Bartaania ke Badshah ki har qism ki bayyat se bari ho chuke hae, aur ye ke har siyaasi ta’alluqaat jo inke aur Mulke Bartaania ke darmiyaan tha, jaesa ke hona bhi chaahiye ab mukammal taur se khatm ho chuka hae; aur ye ke Azaad aur Khud-Mukhtaar mulk ki haesiyat se, inke paas aelaane jung karne ke, sulaah karne ke, ta’alluqaat qaayam karne ke, tijaarat karne ke, aur har wo amal aur chiz karne ke jo ke azaad mulk apne haq se kar sakte hae unhe karne ke, mukammal inkhteyaaraat hae. Aur is Iqraar-naame ki himaayat ke khaatir, us Razzaaq ke tahaffuz par pukhta aetemaad karte hue, hum ek dusre ke khaatir qasm khaate hae apni Jaano ki, apne Maal ki aur apne muqaddas Waqaar ki.

'Bombay High Court' under Narendra Modi's communal paintbrush

BJP’s latest communal attack, they want to re-christen the name of ‘Hon. Bombay High Court’ and prestigious ‘Indian Institute of Technology- Bombay (IIT-B)’ to ‘Mumbai High Court’ and ‘Indian Institute of Technology- Mumbai (IIT-M)’ respectively, actually, BJP would someday even re-christen the word ‘re-christen’ to some Sanskrit word or ban and penalise its usage because it is an English word and doesn’t promote ‘Hindutva’ ideology (Hindutva: A radical Hindu ideology). ‘Bombay’ was re-christened to ‘Mumbai’, during their previous tenure to promote ‘Hindutva’ because ‘Mumbai’ is a Hindu goddess.


Indian Judiciary is an independent body and doesn’t come under the power of Union or States’ government, it consist of Hon. Supreme Court at apex subordinated by Hon. High Courts i.e. Bombay, Calcutta, Madras, Delhi, Allahabad etc. High courts do cover several states in their jurisdiction and are not limited up to a state. Since Indian states are organised on basis of languages, dominant ideologies in states should not be considered in judicial administration.

It was British government which developed the modern judiciary even before Indian Independence, this BJP & its allies who profess ‘Hindutva’ have done nothing for the cause of judiciary. They have no rights whatsoever to interfere in judicial system including judicial bodies. Neither BJP politicians nor their communal racist PM Narendra Modi ever did anything in their lives for the cause of judicial system, never made provisions to speed up judicial working, nor set up any new High Courts or likewise. Their only motto is to usurp other’s good works to their own credits, if these people are men of worth why don’t they set up new courts and name the court, they just continue to rename British structures to promote their venomous communal politics.

The constitution of India establishes the judicial system as an independent body; Narendra Modi’s government is a communal and racist government. BJP cabinet is continuously worried about how courts will react to their communal tactics and pogrom. They know courts are independent body and they can’t subdue judicial bodies. Thus, in a feat to show that they have the final say even over courts BJP now wants to re-christen the names of courts which were actually set by British prior to independence. It is just a gimmick that too to give a message that courts are not independent bodies but are under jurisdiction of their power, re-christening Hon. Bombay High Court to Mumbai High Court (Mumbai is a Hindu goddess) will surely give a message that India is not a secular country anymore but a ‘Hindu Rashtra/ Nation’ and that courts are sub-ordinate body of Executive government. It will open the doors for government to meddle with judicial system.

India is a Sovereign Country, but sovereignty doesn’t authorize one to play with history, culture and truth. We must at all cost recognise positive aspects of British government in India i.e. the Judiciary, Railways, Postal body, Legislature, Executive, Educational reforms, Colleges, Universities, Hospitals etc. Since, BJP professes ‘Hindutva’ it wants to destroy all British relics in India when they themselves are not worthy to set up any such agency, their core moral is theft. All British relics are now transformed in such a manner that they promote ‘Hindutva’ by changing names of each and everything in every nook and corner.

It was British who developed Bombay when it was nothing but a group of island, they set up docks, they set up navy, they set up industries, they set up railways, they electrified the city, they set up bus-tram transport, they set up Hospitals, they set up educational institutes, they set up gardens, they set up markets, they set up judiciary, they made marvellous architectures, they set up infra-structure because of which today Bombay is an international city, Bombay has an unbreakable link with British culture and thought. Thus any effort to wipe British relics and impose ‘Hindutva’ is playing with history, culture and truth in name of sovereignty. If these BJP politicians have guts they can establish a city and transform it to such a level that it challenges position of Bombay, this is impossible for them. Thus they turn to theft, theft of culture, history and truth by re-christenisation.

British government, The Common Wealth and Indian intellectuals should raise the issue on national and international level, and if necessary International bodies should take it seriously and stop all funds in name of heritage, because these people bring funds from international forum in name of preserving heritage and then use it against the very cause and actually wipe the heritage, over to that they use the funds to promote communal ‘Hindutva’.

The Honourable Supreme Court of India, hopefully, would take the issue seriously, since its although a mere re-christening it would give a wrong message to general people that executive government has power over judicial bodies. Moreover, Hon. Bombay High Court has jurisdiction not just over Bombay (Mumbai) but all over Maharashtra, Goa, NTs of Dadra-Nagar Haveli and Daman-Diu as well! Thus, why doesn’t Sadananda Gowda want to re-christen it to ‘Maharashtra and Goa High Court’, why specifically to ‘Mumbai High Court’? I along with many others pray to Hon. Supreme Court of India to sternly prevent Narendra Modi’s government from ‘Saffronising’ the outer decorum of Indian Judiciary, it is still so sorry to watch that gate of Bombay High Court has it written over it as just High Court (common noun)and not properly as ‘Bombay High Court’.

UNICEF, Red Cross Society and IMF please adopt or aid Syrian baby angel Adi Hudea!


I appeal to UNICEF, Red Cross’ Society and IMF’s community center, I had also sent e-mails to your organisations, that for the sake of humanity and peace adopt four year old baby girl Adi Hudea for her upbringing or send her mother reasonable amount of funds to help her raise the said baby.

As you too would be knowing that the baby lost her father in bombing, had to leave her home and is forced to live in a refugee camp for Syrians. We all who live in well to do places can’t imagine the trauma and pain this innocent angel would be facing.

I along with millions of people around the world are shocked since we saw her picture put up by Gaza Photojournalist Nadia Abu Shaban on Twitter and clicked by Photojournalist Osman Sagirli. It makes us cry to learn how this sweet angel confused the camera with a gun and raised her arms in surrender, it’s her age to play with dolls and she has to confront mistaken guns. How terrified she would have been, how her tiny heart would have beaten & reacted, look at her clothes they are torn, it’s really heart breaking.

This girl has silently asked us for help & support, we know it very well if we don’t help her how her future life, health and education would be, thus, I along with millions of people around the world with folded hands & tears in our eyes request your organisation to please either adopt her or send funds to her mother, this would be least we can do. I along with millions of others also seek such help & aid for other suffering babies around the world.

Don’t let this little angel Adi Hudea suffer more; let’s help her and others like her! Please!
